ABSTRACT
This world is really close to nuclear
warfare. This is expressed by Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) agents
that investigate the Soviet leaders believe if America does great prepare to
face Soviet (The Atlantic, 2013). Nuclear warfare has a very strong impact to
the environment because it will produce 150 million tons of smoke (Nuclear
Darkness). From health and social side, the radiation will take great effect as
what happened at Chernobyl. Because of that Indonesia has to prepare to face
every possibility. Surabaya is one of province capital in Indonesia with high
productivity that makes it as one of nuclear attack target. Method used is the
integration of Geographical Information System, Nuke Map 3D application, and
literature review. GIS method used is thematic map overlay for visualize
distribution of victim that is caused by nuclear bomb and evacuation plan. Nuke
Map 3D is application for predict damage and area of victim that receive impact
of nuclear bomb. Literature review about impact of nuclear bomb from various
research results to give description of every possibility that can happen. This
is done for damage impact prediction that is caused by nuclear bomb, especially
number of victim. This study is important for countermeasures after disaster
with decide the effective evacuation track. Data are needed to procced are damage impact and victim data caused by nuclear bomb from Nuke Map 3D
application, population data from government website of Surabaya, and basic map
for visualize thematic map. The result of this study is nuclear bomb disaster
countermeasures modeling that are in the form of evacuation track mapping and
safest destination location for ease evacuation process.
